Hoh Rain Forest

For Memorial Day we went to the Seattle area to visit Tyler's sister. One of the days we visited the Hoh Rain Forest. Who would have thought there would be a Rain Forest in Washington. Anyway, it was beautiful and luckily for us didn't rain the day we were there. Everything is so beautiful and green. The picture won't even do it justice but the trees had moss all over them. Most of the trees are about 100-200 feet tall. Insain!

This tree is one of the biggest. It is more than 12 1/2 feet wide, 270 feet tall and they think it is 500-550 years old!! Needless to say, we were impressed.
