CAUGHT IN THE ACT!!

The Sock Thief! This kid constantly takes his socks off...(and Lexi's, if they are sitting by each other)...and they end up in his mouth getting munged to death. He shoves the ends in and chews a while while he plays with other toys. He wears alot of mis-matches socks because one always ends up soaking wet. Those two bottom teeth are getting a workout...Yep, two bottom teeth in the last 2 weeks, hopefully the nights start getting a little better and the poor boy can sleep. (Don't mind the pink swing he's in.) Where's Lexi?? She loves to pull blankets up around her face and when they get stuck she blows air threw her nose like she is going to huff and puff and blow that blanket off. Pretty soon she grabs at it but its pretty darn cute!

Their favorite bath toy... the bucket that holds the toys. Poor little munchkins have had runny noses so bath bubbles of Vick's is a nightly ritual.

Caught "preventing wild fires!" Thanks Smokey (Melissa) for the cute shirts for the twins.

HALLOWEEN PICS

We had alot of fun this year for Halloween. The babies were spiders and we were supposed to be the web. It's all homemade so you might have to use your imagination a little! Can't wait 'till next year!

6 MONTHS~

Holy smokes, the babies are already 6 months old!! Lexi is rolling over and I really had to be quick with the camera before she rolled off the couch!!This one is absolutely Lexi. We get this blank stare alot, more like she has to figure you out first before she decides to like you.

Can you just picture him saying "Hmm, you know, I'm not so sure about all of this"
Is this the same kid? What a mug! Look at those chipmunk cheeks. I think he's storing up for winter!!

WHICH BABY HAD FUN?

I've tried for 3 days to get video to upload to Blogger....no luck. You'll have to click the links below to YouTube instead.

The task here is to decide which baby had more fun... can you guess...

Jack:

I think I know which one had more fun....

Lexi is such a girl! and Jack is such a boy! I love it!! Lexi is very selective with her laughs and when we tickle her she grunts like she is so bugged and then sometimes she just lets out a big high-pitched, girly scream. Jack laughs when you just look at him funny.

TRICKS

The trick here is to actually get my hair done everyday. I recently cut a lot of hair off and darkened it so I look like I belong to my brown-haired family. Lexi's new trick is to see how many toes she can stick in her mouth. I used to paint her toenails but now I'm afraid the paint will end up getting sucked off. She really enjoys those toes!
Jack has been able to bear his weight on his legs for a while now and they are getting to the point where they can stabalize themselves so he loves to stand and really even hates to sit. Tyler wanted me to say that we walked into their room to this sight but I can't lie...I'm off to the side where I've just positioned Jack ever so carefully and am ready to catch him as he goes down in about 2 seconds

HAIR CUTS

Most parents would kill for thier babies to have any hair at all. Mine just got their first hair cuts at 4 months!!

Lexi's 'right-side-a-little-longer." You can see the straggles over her ear.
Before:
After:As you can see, her left side doesn't need any help. She's just about bald - accomplished that one on her own.:0)

Jack's rat-tails were just out of control.
Before:
After:
(no, I didn't do the bald patch.) I can't wait until these munchkins can sit up so they don't rub so much.

WHY...

CAN'T...
BOTH...

BABIES....
SMILE AT THE SAME TIME??
And as you can see, we couldn't even get Lexi to smile on the same day in the same outfit.
We took the kiddos to the fair in those adorable hats and can I tell you how many people asked what booth we bought them at. I was so proud to say..."sorry, they are one of a kind, one of my bestest, most talented friends (Erin and her mom Bonnie) made them. I was so happy to see they finally fit too. Getting so big!!
